It's 2009, where did the time go? Five years ago I was fooling around in PSP and look where it got me... a state university doing biology. I'm not really sure what I was thinking when choosing to be a bio major. For the past three semesters I have been a miserable little girl, dissecting frogs and playing with radioactive chemicals. However, my love of art has never left my veins.

Over the summer I took an art appreciation course at a local community college for some extra credits. While working on a project one afternoon, my professor asked me what my major was and where I went to school. I told him I was a bio major and went to Eastern. He asked me if I was passionate about biology, and I said no. The next class he pulled me aside and told me that I was incredibly talented and is shocked that I haven't taken any art classes before. He also said that if I like art, I should pursue it. If I am unhappy with biology, I should do what I love. "What do you love?" "Art." That's all I needed.

I broke the news to my parents a few weeks ago that I was unhappy with biology and changing my major to art. Starting January 2010, I should be posting lots more art. I'm taking fifteen art credits next semester... I'd hope I'd be making lots of art, ha.

Anyway, I hope I'm not invisible around here anymore. I just wish I could change this embarrassing name. 'xNotSoPerfectx'. Oh well.
